40th Season Starts

Knowsley Safari parks 40th season is about to really begin with the February half term school holidays. After a season of relatively few offers in 2010 the park has gone all out to get as many offers out as possible for the start of 2011. The “Half Price Half Term” offer is out in as many sources as we could get from local press to website, facebook, twitter this blog, google maps and we have a voucher on moneysupermarket.com too. The hope is that everyone who tries to look for vouchers and offers can find this one easily and use it.

I have seen vouchers put out by business before and it is almost as if they are doing it just to say there is an offer out there but they don’t really want to get any vouchers back or actually give any discount. My opinion is if you are going to have an offer, really have an offer. Make it so it is available and one that you want back and get it out there, flood the place with vouchers, let everyone have one if they want. Make it an offer that gives great value to the customer and that will help you to meet your objectives, whatever they may be. What are Knowsley Safari Parks objectives for half term? Simply get as many people into the park as possible to see what a great place it is for a day out (even in February) so that we are first on the list for more days out during the rest of 2011.

The park has this voucher out in so many places there is really no reason why anyone should be paying full price during half term and I am making it so it can be accepted in any form so it can be printed at home, cut out of a paper or even saved to the screen of your smartphone, just show it at the gate and you are in for half price. You can even use the image from this blog.

See you at half term.

About safariuk

I am the Visitor Service Manager for UK tourist attraction Knowsley Safari Park. I have been in the post only for a few years and consider myself very fortunate to work in such a fantastic place. Not many people outside of Africa can take their lunch break while looking at elephants! This isn't the official blog for Knowsley Safari Park but my own views and opinions on things that may be happening at the park, in the leisure industry or anywhere else.
