Anniversary plans

The 40th Anniversary plans are moving on here at Knowsley Safari Park and plans are in place for our summer exhibition showing photographs stories and memorabilia, if we can find any, from the last 40 years.

The exhibition opens on Saturday 23rd of July and we hope will take those that have visited in years gone by on a nostalgic tour of the park, for the younger visitors it will show how the park developed over the years to the fantastic attraction it is today.

During the weekend of 23rd and 24th of July we will also see the return of the original green safari tour buses and if you are the proud owner of a classic car you can bring it along and get two of the occupants into the park for FREE! More details on the classic car deal will follow nearer the time but we do plan to run the buses around the safari drive so you can hop on and enjoy the safari without risking your pride and joy (subject to availability).

Also on the subject of buses look out for the Knowsley Safari Park bus going around Liverpool in the next few weeks. The bus side advertising really makes the most of the baboons and their antics and is sure to raise a smile or two. Look out for the facebook offers and competitions connected to this too.

About safariuk

I am the Visitor Service Manager for UK tourist attraction Knowsley Safari Park. I have been in the post only for a few years and consider myself very fortunate to work in such a fantastic place. Not many people outside of Africa can take their lunch break while looking at elephants! This isn't the official blog for Knowsley Safari Park but my own views and opinions on things that may be happening at the park, in the leisure industry or anywhere else.
