Alice’s bucket list

This week one of our season tickets holders and friend of the park Alice Pyne posted her blog on the internet.  Alice is not well and the blog was her list of things she wanted to do before it was too late.
Many of you may have already seen Alice’s Bucket list but for those of you who haven’t one of Alice’s primary goals on the list is to get everyone in the UK on the bone marrow donor register.  Some of Alice’s list is beyond us but this one we can all help with, click the two links and see if you are able to register, if not no problem just send these links on to as many people as you can and help to really boost the number of donors out there.  Just one bone marrow match can save a life!  Please click and please share and repost.

About safariuk

I am the Visitor Service Manager for UK tourist attraction Knowsley Safari Park. I have been in the post only for a few years and consider myself very fortunate to work in such a fantastic place. Not many people outside of Africa can take their lunch break while looking at elephants! This isn't the official blog for Knowsley Safari Park but my own views and opinions on things that may be happening at the park, in the leisure industry or anywhere else.

This is a great story, but honestly it seemed like a scam at first too me. I was relived to hear that Alice’s bucket list was not a hoax, but still think it presents some good life lessons for us about doing our due diligence before spreading something viral. If you want to check out the article it’s here….

Thanks for the comment Keith, horrible but true fact of life that people will do that sort of thing. As I know Alice I knew this story to be true.
